Metro Rural Fire Forensics will identify and review design criteria for fire and life safety features including:

• Occupancy classifications
• Construction type
• Fire resistance separations
• Exterior fire exposure
• Fire protection systems
• Means of egress
• Protection of vertical openings and atria
• Smoke control systems
• High-rise buildings
• Special use areas (e.g., parking, lab)
• Fire department access
• Other fire safety requirements

Metro Rural Fire Forensics will prepare code reports documenting applicable requirements and the proposed design approach for achieving code compliance. The Fire Safety Analysis Reports then serve as living documents for the fire safety approach for the structure, including documenting variances or alternative approaches.
